The Social Security Administration (SSA) is reminding all Employment Networks (EN) that an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required and must be renewed annually.
There is no charge for creating or renewing a SAM account if you use the SAM website.
To create a new SAM account or renew an existing registration, please visit https://sam.gov and follow the prompts on the right side of the screen.
Please note that some third-party, private-sector companies may contact ENs offering to register or renew SAM accounts for a significant fee. These services are not endorsed by SSA and are not required, as SAM registration and renewal can be completed at no cost using the SAM.gov website.
