
Linthicum Heights, MD — The Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity (CS) Program is welcoming new partners to join the fight against sophisticated cyber threats. This expansion provides defense contractors a direct line to the U.S. government for sharing threat information and receiving timely, actionable intelligence to protect the nation’s critical supply chains.
The DIB CS Program is a cornerstone of the DoW's strategy to secure the DIB ecosystem. It is administered by the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) and fosters a unique collaborative environment where industry partners work alongside government analysts to bolster their cyber posture.
Mr. Terrance Kalka, DC3 DCISE Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the program's expansion, stating, "We are thrilled to open our doors to new partners and expand this critical shield for our nation's defense. This is about building a stronger, more resilient defense ecosystem. Eligibility: Organizations must be an active DoW contractor or subcontractor and operate a Covered Contractor Information System that handles Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Organizations should possess a DoW-approved medium assurance certificate per DFARS 252.204-7012.
