CSMS # 64888215 - Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) Publishes Updated CATAIR/Implementation Guide and Organic Tips for Trade

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) has published an update to its CATAIR guidelines. That document can be found here: https://www.cbp.gov/document/guidance/ams-catair-guidelines

This update is for Specialty Crops Program “MO” message sets; HTS code updates were made for Potatoes and Oranges.

In addition, AMS has updated the organic tips for trade document. It can be found under “PGA Filing Support” in the “PGA Integration” section at this location: https://www.cbp.gov/trade/automated/how-to-use-ace

This tips document provides information related to the National Organic Program and explains the difference between OR1 and OR2 filings in US Customs and Border Protection’s Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
