CSMS # 64492842 - UPDATE: ACE Reports – Trade Export Data Universe Retires March 31, 2025
On March 31, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will retire the Trade Export data universe in Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Reports.
Before the retirement, export trade community users of ACE Reports must repoint any saved Trade Export reports to the Automated Export System (AES) universe.
Users can successfully repoint their saved reports to the AES universe using a two-step process.
- Step 1: Users must repoint their report to a newly deployed universe labeled “Intermediate Trade Export universe.”
- Step 2: Once the report has been successfully repointed in step 1, users will then repoint their report a second time to the AES universe.
Following the retirement, ACE Reports users will use the AES universe for all scheduled and ad hoc export-related reports.
On December 4, 2024, CBP enhanced the AES data universe in ACE Reports. The enhancement enabled the retirement of the Trade Export data universe in ACE Reports.
For more information, including a link to a guide for repointing reports, please review Trade Information Notice: ACE Reports: Enhancement of Automated Export System (AES) Universe to Replace Trade Export Data Universe here.
