CSMS # 59064050 - “ACE Tips for Filing EPA HFCs" Document Now Available

An update to the “ACE Tips for Filing EPA Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)” is now available and provides clarification for an HFC filing. Specifically: Either an ASHRAE number or the CAS number(s) with percent composition are required to be filed. DO NOT file both ASHRAE and CAS Number(s).

The updated HFC Tips Sheet is available here:

https://www.cbp.gov/document/fact-sheets/ace-tips-filing-epa-hfcs. This update will also be included in the next update to the EPA supplemental to the CATAIR.

The HFC filing requirements deployed to ACE Production on January 16, 2024.
