CSMS # 58421137 - ACE Portal Modernization: Initial Phases Complete, Blanket Declarations Migrating December 9
Following nearly two years of careful development work and ongoing user readiness activities, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has completed the initial phased rollout of the modernized ACE Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal). The completed phases of the modernization effort included the following modernized ACE Portal functionality:
- New login page
- New home page
- Access points to other ACE applications and trade resources via the References tab and account-specific launch buttons
- View/create/edit functionality for account data, including a new account tree navigation feature
- New broker-related account functionality, in accordance with CBP’s broker regulations modernization effort
While the initial phased modernization efforts are complete, CBP will continue to develop and deploy additional functionalities in the modernized ACE Portal (e.g., user access management) in preparation for retirement of the legacy ACE Portal.
Below is a brief description of the next deployment planned in the modernized ACE Portal:
December 9, 2023 – Migration of Blanket Declarations: CBP will complete the migration of the blanket declarations functionality from the legacy ACE Portal to the modernized ACE Portal. Following this deployment, users who are authorized will no longer use the legacy ACE Portal to create, manage, and view declarations; going forward, the functionality will only be available in the modernized ACE Portal.
For more information on this deployment, review the ACE Portal Modernization webpage. CBP will provide additional information on upcoming enhancements as it becomes available.
