An updated version of the ACE CATAIR Entry Summary Create/Update (V81) has been posted under the “Draft Chapters: Future Capabilities” tab on CBP.gov for Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA). The update includes the following:

Effective January 1, 2023, the definitions of the Product Claim Code on the Line Item Header (40-Record) and the data elements submitted on the Importer’s Additional Declaration Detail (54-Record) have been revised.
On January 1, 2023 and after, the full IRT amount will be assessed for an article of alcohol where CBMA is claimed.

An updated version of the ACE CATAIR Error Dictionary has also been posted under the “Draft Chapters: Future Capabilities” tab on CBP.gov. It reflects a new error code (823) regarding the Foreign Producer Identifier submitted on the CBMA Product Detail.

The error code will be deployed to the Certification environment on October 25, 2022. Production deployment will occur on January 1, 2023.
