CSMS #52290094 - Transmission of the Unique Identifier for FDA’s Foreign Supplier Verification Programs

As previously announced in CSMS# 51738135 beginning July 24, 2022, FDA will end its temporary policy of permitting use of the entity identification code “UNK” in place of the DUNS for the Foreign Supplier Verification Program Importer (FSV) entity in PG19.

If “UNK” is transmitted for the entity number after the following deployment dates the entry will be rejected:

· CERT: No later than July 8, 2022

· PRODUCTION: July 23-24, 2022 (this will be deployed during the regular maintenance window on Saturday night-Sunday morning)
