Adjustment of certain COBRA customs user fees and limitations for Fiscal Year 2022 will deploy in the Certification and Production environments on September 9, 2021. The adjustments include, but are not limited to:
· Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) for Formal Entry (499) limits changed to minimum $27.75 / maximum $538.40;
· Fee for Informal Entry or Release (automated and not prepared by CBP personnel) (311) changed to $2.22;
· Surcharge for Manual Entry or Release (500) changed to $3.33; and
· Dutiable Mail Fee (496) changed to $6.11.

Other adjusted fees and limitations can be found in 86 FR 40864 (July 29, 2021). These adjustments will be applied to importations effective October 1, 2021. Note that the new amount will be in effect for a summary pre-filed prior to October 1, 2021 if the relevant entry date is on or after October 1, 2021.
An updated version of the Entry Summary Create/Update (AE) CATAIR chapter will be posted to CBP.gov.
