CSMS #46159765 - Information on Craft Beverage Modernization Act Pre-Deployment Support Call

On April 6, 2021, the US Customs and Border Protection will deploy the Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA) enhancement to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). CBMA allows for reduced rates or credits on 92 tariff numbers under Chapter 22 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. With the upcoming deployment, filers will transmit via ABI key data for CBMA claims, be able to compute and validate tax amounts, and be able to access data via data warehouse reporting.

CBMA is available in Certification as of February 4, 2021, and will deploy to Production on April 6, 2021.
