CSMS #42756814 - Department of State is amending the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to revise the licensing exemption for transfers made by or for an agency of the U.S. Government
As per 84 FR 16398 The Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) exemption 126.4(c) has been end dated with effective date of April 19th 2020 and removed from the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) Appendix O DDTC ITAR Exemption Codes. The exemption will no longer be accepted in Electronic Export Information (EEI) submissions.
22 CFR 126.4 (c) Return of temporary or permanent export of defense article, technical data, or defense service for end-use by U.S. Government agency in foreign country.
