CSMS #41179115 - Trade Remedy 301 HTS 9903.88.01 validation issue will be fixed 1/4/2020

Please be aware that CBP validations are not allowing HTS 8412.21.0075, 8480.71.8045, 8482.10.5044, 8482.10.5048, 8482.10.5052, 8525.60.1010, 8407.21.0080, and 8412.21.0030 to be correctly transmitted with 9903.88.01. ACE validations will be updated Saturday (1/4/2020) night. Consequently entries transmitted on 1/5/2020 will accept the trade remedy tariff combination and the additional duty.

Summaries containing one or more of the eight HTS numbers described above transmitted from 12/28/2019 through 1/4/2020 should be retransmitted with correct trade remedy HTS combination and duty amounts at time of summary filing. If entry summary filing time frames do not allow them to be retransmitted, then the entry summaries should be corrected via PSC as soon as possible. Importers may face penalty action if they do not submit appropriate entries with HTS 9903.88.01 and the correct duty amounts.
