CSMS #40678138 - UPDATE: Issue Searching Antidumping/Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) Messages to Public Message Website
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) technical team successfully posted all missed public AD/CVD messages that did not post during the timeframe that CBP encountered a technical issue. Additionally, CBP is working to ensure that all posted messages are searchable within the public message website. A technical issue with special characters in the posted messages prevents the messages from being available in AD/CVD Web search. As of 11/14/19, the CBP technical team removed special characters from approximately 280 messages that were generated between 9/21/19 and 11/13/19. CBP will monitor this issue and plans to remove special characters on a weekly basis to ensure that posted messages appear in the search. Additionally, CBP is working on a long-term solution to eliminate the special character issue altogether. CBP will issue a follow-up CSMS message when a deployment date for the fix is identified.
As a reminder, the official copy of public AD/CVD messages are always available in ACE. Parties may also obtain copies of public AD/CVD messages through the Enforcement and Compliance (Department of Commerce) Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Centralized Electronic Service System (ACCESS) by registering for a user account or logging in as a guest user through one of the following links: https://access.trade.gov/login.aspx or https://access.trade.gov/agreement.aspx?id=guest
