CSMS #40449785 - National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Rules Related to HS-7 Box 6, Declared Vehicles, to Begin Generating Warning Messages

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) rules related to HS-7 Box 6, declared vehicles, will soon begin generating warning error messages to trade filers if data is not correctly provided (please see the ACE NHTSA PGA Message Set IG, section “HS-7 Box 6 (vehicle) declared” section for details on data requirements). If the Box 6 NHTSA data is not correctly provided, it will not cause the entry to be rejected, but trade filers should note the errors for future submissions.

This code is expected in the CERT environment on November 1, 2019 and is expected in PROD on December 14, 2019.
