CSMS #39653322 - Cutover Plan for ACE Collections Release One Deployment on September 7, 2019
On September 7, 2019, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy the Collections Release One functionality in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The deployment date was announced in CSMS #39240525 on August 7, 2019.
Outlined below is the cutover plan for Collections Release One deployment on September 7.
Friday, September 6: Trade will use the current ACH Authorization / PN/QN process through 11:59 PM ET.
Saturday, September 7: At 12:00 AM ET, the ACS queue will be disabled, and from this point on, all PN/QN will receive an “Application rejected” message. Also starting at 12:00 AM ET, Trade will use the new ACH Authorization / RM process, which changes the structure of the output message to use E0/E1 format. RMs submitted Saturday will be held in a queue until ACE Collections Release One deploys (scheduled during the normal ACE outage window). Responses for Saturday’s RMs will be sent after the end of the ACE outage.
Per CSMS #39586245, CBP will host support calls to address any questions or concerns from the Trade regarding Collections Release One. The calls will be held from 2:00 PM ET to 3:00 PM ET on September 5, 6, 9, and 10. Calls may end early if there are no active questions, so please be sure to call in promptly at 2:00 PM ET to ensure your questions are answered.
