ACE Outreach Events
The Ports of Brunswick and Savannah, Georgia Port Office will be closed beginning Monday, September 2, 2019 at noon due to the forecast of Hurricane Dorian impacting the Georgia coastline as well as coastal areas in Georgia.
Tuesday and Wednesday, September 3 and September 4, 2019 will be local closure days granted to all who file entries at the Ports of Brunswick, Georgia and Savannah, Georgia (1701 and 1703). CBP is extending two additional days, without penalty, for any entry summaries and payments of duties that were due on Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in the Ports of Brunswick, Georgia and Savannah, Georgia. If Brunswick and Savannah are still under mandatory evacuation orders on Thursday, September 5, 2019 and unable to reopen, CBP will extend the closure.
Depending on weather conditions, the port projects reopening and resuming normal business operations at 0800 hours, Thursday, September 5, 2019.
