ADVANCE COPY NOTICE: HB-1-3555, Form RD 3555-21, and Appendix 7

The New Guaranteed Underwriting System, “New GUS”, will be implemented on March 1, 2021. In preparation, the Agency has updated several chapters in Handbook 1-3555, Form RD 3555-21, and Appendix 7. 

The proposed changes to HB-1-3555, Chapters 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, Form RD 3555-21, and Appendix 7 include “New GUS” instructions and references to Fannie Mae 3.2 file, MISMO 2.3.1 file, and the Fannie Mae Form 1003. 

Advance copies of the revised chapters and highlights of the proposed changes are available for review for 30 days on the USDA LINC Training and Resource Library, in the SFH Guaranteed Loan Basic Training and Resources accordion, under the sub-heading “New”.
