Getting your Business to Net Zero

Businesses can join Lincolnshire County Council, Business Lincolnshire and Team Lincolnshire at The Bacchus Hotel on Thursday 7 July to find out how incorporating renewable, low carbon and low energy systems into your building can support your journey to net zero and reduce energy costs.

Delegates will hear from the owner of the Bacchus Hotel, David Smith, about his net zero journey, Vicky Dunn, Director of Grimsby Community Energy, who own and operate 200kW of solar PV over 6 sites in Grimsby.  Lee Marshall, Managing Director of Viridis, and Aaron Sadd from Western Power will also be providing an insight into the challenges for grid capacity.

As well as a guided tour of the hotel, there will be the opportunity to ask questions, visit exhibition stands showcasing the low carbon products and services available to Lincolnshire businesses, and discuss ideas during an informal networking lunch. For more information and to book your free place click here.

Join the NKDC Apprentices in discovering more about North Kesteven’s Carbon Footprint

Apprentices at North Kesteven District Council are currently taking part in a Corporate Project to develop their skills and knowledge on the services the organisation provides. This year’s project is focused on how the council can support businesses in reducing their carbon footprint with a focus on the impact of waste on our climate and what actions could be taken to improve this.

Hearing directly from businesses will allow the team to tailor the research, gain a better understanding of how we can support local businesses and prepare initial ideas for solving any issues that waste may cause across the district.

Complete the survey button

Please note, there is the option to complete the survey anonymously, however if you would like to receive updates on the results please provide your contact details at the end of the survey. The closing date for the survey is Sunday 17 July, we look forward to receiving your feedback.
