 Every year North Kesteven District Council proudly supports Armed Forces Day with a range of initiatives aimed at building a better understanding and strengthening the relationship between the community and our Armed Forces, past, present and future.
We are always keen to involve businesses and encourage the creation of striking window displays and promoting any discounts you offer to Forces personnel, their families and Veterans either during the week or throughout the year.
To give a head start on what we’re planning, dates and deadlines we hope this leaflet will help you to identify ways through which you can get involved this Summer.

- Monday 20th June: Flag Raising and Veterans’ Lunch
If you would like to take part in the window competition and/or the discount promotion, please email armedforces@n-kesteven.gov.uk. The deadline is Wednesday 8th June.
 On behalf of Collaboration 4 Growth, Lincoln BIG and Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce are hosting the 'Let’s Talk Business Growth Conference' on Thursday 9th June at the DoubleTree by Hilton.
The conference will feature high profile guest speaker Ollie Ollerton and will include inspirational seminars delivered by keynote business speakers on Leadership, Sustainability and Investment.
This event will help provide invaluable information and support local businesses to network and grow. Ollie Ollerton, star of Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins will deliver an inspirational talk on hardship, as well as leadership and wellbeing.
