Collaboration 4 Growth funding and support for North Kesteven businesses

Collaboration 4 Growth (C4G) offer grants and business support for micro, small, or medium size businesses in Lincoln, North Kesteven, and West Lindsey.

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln BIG are working in partnership to provide business support to new and existing SMEs who trade on a business-to-business basis. Eligible businesses can receive up to 12 hours support or a grant to support the growth and diversification of their organisation.

Through this project, there are revenue and capital grants available between £2,000 and £7,000 supporting activities such as the creation or implementation of new systems and purchasing new equipment. 

Businesses are entitled to receive a grant or 12 hour’s free business advice. The C4G project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).


Bishop Grosseteste University launch new hub to support social economy businesses

Bishop Grosseteste University has launched a new hub to support charities, cooperatives, community groups and other social economy businesses across Greater Lincolnshire.

The Social Economy Academy was launched under the hub's community offer with support from Lincolnshire County Council and Business Lincolnshire. The academy offers a blend of practical and academic workshops delivered by a range of partners. For more information please see here.


Way to Work campaign

The Way to Work campaign is a partnership between government and employers to get 500,000 jobseekers into work by the end of June 2022. 

Building on the success of the flagship Kickstart Scheme, The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will work with a wider range of employers to cement positive relationships and show them the good quality of candidates coming through jobcentres.

This includes through direct engagement with employers across booming sectors like construction, haulage and logistics and social care. For more information please see here.

The Council offers the service of a Business Support Adviser, Phil Means. Phil can assist businesses and provide bespoke advice and support.
