Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant

The OHLG was announced in December 2021 to support businesses that offer in-person services, where the main service and activity takes place in a fixed rate-paying premises, in the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors.

The amount businesses will receive is dependent on rateable value, changes to the ratings list after 30 December 2021 will not count towards the grant eligibility. Before applying for the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG), please read the guidance.

Eligible businesses are required to apply for the OHLG as Government have instructed that no automatic payments are to be made through this scheme.

To apply for the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant see here. Please ensure that you upload the correct documents requested, failure to do so may result in delayed payment of the grant due to the additional administration required.

The scheme will remain open until 28 February 2022 and all final payments will be made to recipients by 31 March 2022.

North Kesteven District Council is currently developing a vision for revitalising Sleaford Town Centre. This study will explore the potential for physical improvements within the town centre area, reviewing the 2011 Sleaford Masterplan and taking into account the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Quarterly Economic Survey (ECS) is your chance to have your say on the issues which are affecting your business.

Experience Lincolnshire! Developing visitor experience days

Business Lincolnshire are hosting a series of practical workshops, for tourism businesses to explore how to build a fun and engaging experience for their customers.

The workshop looks at how tourism businesses can develop an 'experience', 'theme' day or 'package weekend' for visitors and provides an opportunity to collaborate with complementary businesses nearby to package together a great fun and immersive experience for potential customers.

There are three locations to choose from:

The workshop is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

Reporting anti-social behaviour

If you encounter any issues with anti-social behaviour in the District, please report it to police or North Kesteven District Council. You can contact the police on 101 (if you can, at the time the anti-social behaviour is occurring) or via online reporting, alternatively contact our team at ASB@n-kesteven.gov.uk.

Please note, social media pages are not routinely monitored by either the police or NKDC, and so are not a platform for reporting an offence.

The Council offers the service of a Business Support Adviser, Phil Means. Phil can assist businesses and provide bespoke advice and support.
