On Tuesday 30 September NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) launched a formal consultation exercise on the future of four NHS services.

This 12-week public consultation runs until 23 December 2021. It will enable people from across the county to have their say on how these services might be delivered in the future.

The four NHS services and proposed changes included in this consultation are:

  • Orthopaedic surgery across Lincolnshire
  • Urgent and emergency care at Grantham and District Hospital
  • Acute medical beds at Grantham and District Hospital

As part of this consultation, NHS Lincolnshire will be sharing information on the above services, how they operate now, the challenges faced and proposals for how they could be improved for the benefit of our staff and the population of Lincolnshire.

We would like you, as local businesses in North Kesteven, to be aware of this consultation and support us in sharing the information and encouraging residents to get involved.

Toll Bar Equestrian Riding School new riding simulator

Toll Bar Equestrian

Toll Bar Equestrian recently received grant funding from the ARG Adapt & Revive to purchase a Racewood riding simulator called Lloyd (pictured above).

The riding simulator means training is now more accessible now and students can work with instructors to perfect their posture and position in a controlled environment.

Natalie Cuffe, proprietor and BHS instructor of Toll Bar Equestrian, said they have always wanted to buy a riding simulator to support beginners and established riders. Read the full case study here.

Both the ARG Adapt & Revive and ARG Start Up grants are still open for applications. More information can be found on the Business NK website.
