Eventful Sleaford

A truly eventful day is in store for Sleaford with a series of events by organisers, from classic wheels and a planned Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast weather permitting, to food, town crying, cycles, crafts and climate action - all for free and magnified with a map trail and more linking them all.

A number of fun-filled events are taking place in the town on Saturday September 4, free and for the enjoyment of all, the full list of events can be found here.

These events, brought to life by partners and organisers, are being magnified by North Kesteven District Council which is using a share of the Government’s Welcome Back fund to help promote them under a single banner - Eventful Sleaford.

Nominate a business for an NK Community Champion Award 2021

The NK Community Champion Awards programme has a specific category to champion community-minded businesses and this year a new category is looking to tease out and celebrate those businesses which are making a Contribution to Climate Action.

Take a look at the full list of 12 categories at www.NKawards.org where you can nominate too. There's not long left to make your nominations as the deadline is Monday 6 September.

In all cases the NK Community Champion Awards are looking to honour selfless, tireless voluntary endeavour which goes above and beyond paid-for remunerated work; which is carried out in the interests of promoting a better, safer, more fulfilling and flourishing place to live or encouraging individuals or groups to fulfil their potential.
