CQC's Provider Engagement Strategy

CQC is developing a new Provider Engagement Strategy, we want to make sure it supports the best possible engagement and communication with providers and would like your help in doing this. If you have a spare 5 minutes we would greatly appreciate it if you could complete this short survey to help us understand what you value in CQC engagement and communication. The survey will close on the 31st May.


Mythbusters and tips

Reminder - General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect on 25 May 2018 and will replace the current Data Protection Act 1998.

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) are publishing general guidance on GDPR. This is being supplemented by guidance for health and social care which is being produced by the Information Governance Alliance and published by NHS Digital. They have recently added a guidance note for GPs.

The Royal College of General Practitioners have published new guidance on online consultations for patients and practices. The guidance includes a list of questions for patients, GPs and commissioners to consider before using or utilising online general practice services:
