Geomagnetic Storm Forecast

Current geomagnetic conditions are at STORM levels due to a coronal mass ejection (CME) that arrived earlier today, 12th Sept. Another CME observed on 11th Sept is expected to arrive within the next 48 hours and could prolong geomagnetic STORM conditions.
Assuming clear, dark skies, there is a chance of seeing the aurora over the coming days 12th – 14th Sept. Those in Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland have a better chance if the skies remain cloud free.
