Pick your first "thing" this month!
- Register for emergency alerts in McLennan County at alertwaco.com.
- Store at least one gallon of water per person per day for three days.
- Make an emergency communication plan.
- Identify safe places to take cover during severe weather, both at home and at work.
- Safely store copies of important documents.
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and Waco-McLennan County Library is celebrating with a giveaway! Pre-register for your card online at wacolibrary.org, then stop by any Waco Library to show your ID and proof of address to get your card.

*Must be a resident of McLennan County in order to get a free library card and enter the drawing. You can also register in person at all branch locations.
