Waco Animal Control and the Waco Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team rescued a dog trapped in a ravine on Wednesday, April 17. Together, they saved Buddy, and he is now safely back with his owner!
We suspect Buddy, a senior dog, got loose, ran behind a nearby house, and fell down a deep ravine. After the rescue, Animal Control scanned Buddy for a microchip, which located his owner. He was transported to the animal shelter where he was assessed and cared for until the owner could pick him up.
Thank you to our first responders and Animal Control officers! Remember to microchip your pet and report animal-related situations to Animal Control at (254) 750-1765. Watch the full video!
