Harts Bluff

The Texas Mobile STEM Labs were busy traveling the state during December, serving 24 campuses. Some of our campus administrators reached out to share their experiences with the state.

Sharyland ISD Region 1:
Thank you for providing our students with such a wonderful experience. The bilingual, engaging lessons offered an authentic learning opportunity beyond the classroom walls, allowing our students to connect language, science, and learning in a meaningful and memorable way.—Aracely Rios, Principal

Harts Bluff ISD Region 8:
Learning Undefeated provided an incredible, hands-on experience that truly energized our students. Our kids were excited, engaged, and fully immersed in science, technology, engineering, and math. Having the STEM lab on campus made the experience feel extra special, and the Learning Undefeated educators were phenomenal. This opportunity exposes students to real-world careers beyond the norm or what they see in a rural area, and I would highly recommend the program to any school.—Erika Ponce de Leon, Principal, Harts Bluff ISD

STEM Night

Gladewater ISD Region 7:
Gladewater ISD welcomed the Mobile STEM Lab December 9–12. All students in grades 2–5 at Weldon Elementary participated in an hour-long hands-on learning session. These activities included creating the tallest beanstalk, designing a catapult, building light-and-sound circuits, and exploring biomimicry—how nature inspires human innovation.

The week culminated in a highly successful STEM Family Night, where over 150 students and families participated in the Care Package Launch in the mobile lab and completed teacher-designed challenges that encouraged creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking. Parents worked collaboratively with their children throughout the evening, making it a true community celebration of STEM learning. We were also grateful to have Region 7 Education Service Center (ESC) staff join us, highlighting our valued partnership with the ESC.

Thank you to Learning Undefeated for an outstanding week of instruction, to all staff members who worked behind the scenes, and to our community for their tremendous support. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and students actively engaged in problem-solving!—Andra Baggett, Principal, Gladewater ISD
