SDCC invites you to an engaging conversation with three dynamic artists featured in our current exhibition BUILT DIFFERENT: Joshua Gordon, Leo Hendrix, and Maurice Pacius. The conversation will be moderated by Ahava Silkey-Jones.

Join us for our first-ever Community Kickback, an evening centered on genuine connection and community care. This gathering is about building relationships and showing love without expecting anything in return.
This is not a regular food park event—food and drinks will be provided while supplies last.

Celebrate the season at our holiday edition of the SDCC Music Lounge Open Mic Night.
Enjoy an evening of music, spoken word, poetry, and creative expression shared by community voices. Whether you’re performing or attending to support local talent, this promises to be a warm and engaging night.

Join us at the South Dallas Cultural Center for Community Story Time and a special book-gifting event! We’ll be reading Santa in the City, a heartwarming tale about a little girl whose belief in Christmas magic is renewed as she discovers that Santa can find her, chimney or not, with the help of her family, community, and the holiday spirit.
