DALLAS – The Dallas Department of Transportation and Public Works (TPW) will kick off a major roadway improvement project in the vicinity of Dallas Love Field (DAL), beginning Monday, October 6 at 7 a.m.
Motorists can expect lane reductions and temporary closures along West Mockingbird Lane from Lemmon Avenue to Cedar Springs Road for eight weeks, weather permitting. Please see the map attached.
Travelers are advised to plan ahead as several key airport access roads will be affected, including West Mockingbird Lane, Cedar Springs Road, Lemmon Avenue, and Denton Road. The airport’s main drop-off and pick-up zones on Herb Kelleher Way, however, will not be impacted.
Public transit and shuttle services are expected to run as usual. Alerts will be made public should changes occur.
This project’s undertaking enhances long-term traffic flow and safety.
