🗓 May 24, 2025 | 🕛 12:00–2:00 PM
📍 Latino Cultural Center | Ages 9–12 and up
Instructed by Ronaldo Bolanos
Discover the magic of photography—no camera required! In this hands-on workshop, young artists will explore the world of cyanotypes, a beautiful and historic form of photography that uses sunlight to create brilliant blue images. Participants will learn a quick history of early photo-making, see stunning examples of cyanotypes past and present, and then make their very own cyanotype prints using natural materials, printed negatives, and light!
🧪 We’ll provide all materials, including pre-coated paper, picture frames, and fun tools to design your image. You’ll even get to take home extra materials to keep creating your own sun-powered artwork. Whether you're into art, science, or just love making things—this workshop is the perfect way to explore creativity and history in a unique and memorable way.
