City of Dallas Council District Fact Sheets Now Available
We are pleased to announce the release of the updated 2024 Citywide and Council District Fact Sheets. These fact sheets provide annual estimates on demographics, economic trends, and real estate development activity both City-wide and at the Council District level.
Now available in both English and Spanish, the fact sheets can be accessed on the Office of Economic Development website: https://www.dallasecodev.org/488/Fact-Sheets.
Construction progress continues on the new Sprouts Farmers Market Grocer at Hampton Road and Fort Worth Avenue, with the store expected to open June 20th. As part of the incentive agreeement authorized by City Council in November 2023, Sprouts agreed to recruit and make efforts to hire residents of the city of Dallas for permanent employment opportunities created by operation of the grocery store.
Sprouts has scheduled two upcoming hiring events offering on-site walk-in interviews for this new store location.
- Wednesday, May 7 from 8 am-5 pm
- Thursday, May 8 from 8 am-5 pm
Both events will be held at at 2727 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207 (Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Market Center).

Coworking Space on the Rise in Urban Core of Dallas
A recent report by Yardi Kube indicates that Dallas has gained almost 700,000 square feet of urban co-working space over the past two years, placing it 10th overall among cities in the U.S. in terms of available space. As of January 2025, there is more than 1.9 million square feet of coworking space available in Dallas, providing many options for Dallas businesses and small businesses looking for flexible work space.
