Beginning this September, the DeepDive 2 art exhibition will be on display where it shines a spotlight on the remarkable diversity and talent of artists who have been instrumental to the White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour. This long-standing event, beloved by local art enthusiasts, has been a vital platform for the creative community in East Dallas for over three decades.
Since its inception in 1992 by visionary artists Marty Ray, Michael Obranovich, and David Hickman, the White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour has bridged the gap between artists and the public, welcoming visitors into the intimate spaces where art is created.

Public Art Dedication Ceremony "The Offering" by artists Jhonattan and Samantha Arango
Join us for the dedication ceremony of "The Offering" a mural made from community collaboration and inspired by the rich history of the neighborhood, known for its strong Latinx population, military service and community activism. Created by the talented artists Jhonattan and Samantha Arango.
This FREE event, hosted by the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture and Dallas Park and Recreation Department, welcomes all to come together in celebration of art, and community.

2024 Bond – Your Feedback Matters!
In May 2024, the City of Dallas approved a significant $1.25 billion bond to enhance our city's infrastructure. This bond is set to fund critical projects, including improvements to streets, storm drains, police facilities, recreation centers, and more. To help us better understand how we did and how we can improve, please take a moment to complete the 2024 Bond Survey.

Join us for the Dallas Cultural Plan: State of the Arts (9/5)
The Office of Arts & Culture (OAC) will host a presentation at the Moody Performance Hall, highlighting the progress made on the 2018 Dallas Cultural Plan the first ever cultural plan for Dallas since 2002.
During the event, City leaders will provide remarks along with performances by local groups. Office of Arts and Culture staff will also share updates regarding the Dallas Cultural Plan. The event is FREE and open to the public, and light bites and refreshments will be available.

1st Latinidades Arts Symposium
Sustaining the Arts through Community Development
The upcoming Latinidades Arts Symposium, will focus on strategies to ensure that the arts not only survive but thrive during these challenging times.
A key theme of the Symposium is the importance of local community engagement and the vital role that intercultural community building plays in sustaining the arts. By fostering deeper connections between diverse communities, the event aims to highlight how arts can serve as a unifying force, bringing people together in meaningful ways.
