City of Dallas public art piece Shadow Lines nominated for 2024 CODAawards Top 100 most successful projects

DALLAS -The 2024 CODAawards jury has selected this year's Top 100 finalists, representing the best design + art projects. This year 384 projects from around the world were submitted to the awards, which recognize design projects demonstrating the most successful integration of commissioned art into an interior, architectural, or public space. 

The public art piece Shadow Lines by RE:site Studio has been nominated and can now be voted to be named the People's Choice of 2024. The top two projects receiving the most votes will be crowned People’s Choice winners. Voting for the People’s Choice Award is open until July 2nd. The winners will be announced at the end of August.

  1. Find Shadow Lines in the list of nominated projects. 
  1. Cast your vote and help us achieve People’s Choice recognition! 

The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture public art piece Shadow Lines by artists Shane Allbritton and Norman Lee of RE:site Studio was installed in September 2023. The artwork honors the victims of racial violence and seeks to provide a place for public remembrance and commemoration.  

About the City of Dallas Public Art Program: 
The Dallas Public Art Program manages the commission and acquisition of new public art as well as the conservation and maintenance of the existing City of Dallas art collection. Works of public art, many created by local and regional artists, enliven parks, libraries, fire stations, recreation centers and many more public locations in Dallas.
