The Bath House Cultural Center and Dallas curator and artist Jose Vargas are collaborating once again in 2024 for the El Corazón exhibition. This annual show, now in its 29th year, features the contributions of Texas artists working across a variety of media. The partnership between the cultural center and Mr. Vargas has become a consistent and anticipated event in the local arts scene. In 2024, El Corazón continues its tradition of providing a platform for artists to showcase their work and engage with a diverse audience. The exhibition is a testament to the rich artistic landscape of the region, fostering community and creativity among participants.

Welcoming Interactive 2024 $5,000 Grant Opportunity
The City of Dallas is collaboratively hosting the Welcoming Interactive Conference that brings together network members, as well as partners and others from around the world to learn and discuss immigrant inclusion, economic development, civic engagement and much more. Welcoming America is offering $5,000 to a Dallas-area artist to lead an interactive art project that would be part of this conference.

Oak Cliff Cultural Center 2025 Exhibition Proposal
Each year the Oak Cliff Cultural Center accepts applications from visual artists and curators for solo and group exhibitions to occur the following calendar year. Selected artists and curators are invited to present an exhibition in the OC3 Gallery after review by the Gallery Programs Coordinator/Curator and OC3 staff.

The Office of Arts and Culture’s Community Arts Division requests proposals for an 8-week residency to be provided at two different locations – two separate districts of the City of Dallas. The residency is to be provided in-person throughout the City of Dallas. This residency program focuses on providing services in the 10 districts of the city that do not have an OAC neighborhood cultural center1 and to connect arts organizations with new communities that they have not connected to before.
