Sunsets and Serenades

Join the Bath House Cultural Center (BHCC) under the beautiful trees and look out towards the lake during our Sunsets and Serenades acoustic concert series.

Curated by DFW Indie/Alt Folk Singer-Songwriter, Amari Amore, this unplugged music series will activate the public art piece titled, A Place to Perform by Linnea Glatt.

Mark your calendars for these two FREE outdoor, acoustic concert performances by Xyzsa Love on 11/4 and Amari Amore on 11/18 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

We have some seating available, but please feel free to bring your chairs and blankets!

Sweat Dallas Dance Festival 2023: Standing!

Produced by Beckles Dancing Company, in partnership with South Dallas Cultural Center. The 2-day festival includes master classes, youth dance showcase, roundtable discussion, and evening performances.

Meet the Office of Arts & Culture's New Assistant Director!

The Office of Arts and Culture welcomes Glenn Ayars as our new Assistant Director.

Mr. Ayars began his career with the City of Dallas in 2017 in OAC’s Funding Programs division serving as Cultural Programs Manager supporting individual artists and arts and culture organizations through various funding programs. In February 2022, Mr. Ayars was promoted to Manager of Outreach and Communications for the Department of Sanitation Services where he oversaw departmental communications and community engagement.

Glenn Ayars has more than 10 years of experience working in the local government, higher education, and non-profit sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Music from the University of Southern California.
