Media advisory: Mayor Johnson to kick off summer jobs program for Dallas youth
As part of his Summer of Safety campaign, Mayor Eric L. Johnson, students, and partners will help kick off the fourth year of Dallas Works, the mayor's summer jobs program for Dallas youth.
Mayor Johnson created Dallas Works in 2020. Last year, Dallas Works helped 1,261 young people, ages 15-24, receive job skills training and employment during the summer months while they were out of school.
