DALLAS - The City of Dallas is actively seeking applications for the inaugural City of Dallas Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

“The Board of Directors will play an important role in steering the growth of Dallas businesses,” said Councilmember Tennell Atkins, Chairman of the City’s Economic Development Committee. “We need passionate and qualified people who want to make a difference in their community and see Dallas thrive, and we want nominees that reflect the diversity and business interests of Dallas. ”

Those interested in nominating themselves or others to the board can click here to submit an application. The deadline to apply is April 30.

The board, made up of 15 members, will oversee the City of Dallas Economic Development Corporation. The Economic Development Corporation was approved by City Council in January 2022 to support business development and serve as a public developer within the City of Dallas.
