The Dallas City Council will have a special called meeting to receive the report of the Ad Hoc Canvassing Committee. They will adopt a resolution accepting the committee’s report to declare the results from the December 11, 2018, runoff election for Place 4 on the Dallas City Council. According to the Dallas County Elections Department, Carolyn King Arnold received the majority of votes for Place 4 and will represent the district for the unexpired term ending June 17, 2019. Ms. Arnold will be sworn in by the Honorable Judge Eric V. Moyé (14^th Civil District Court) during this ceremony.
