The Dallas City Council will have a special called meeting to receive the report of the Ad Hoc Canvassing Committee. They will adopt a resolution accepting the committee’s report to declare the results from the December 11, 2018, runoff election for Place 4 on the Dallas City Council.

According to the Dallas County Elections Department, Carolyn King Arnold received the majority of votes for Place 4 and will represent the district for the unexpired term ending June 17, 2019. Ms. Arnold will be sworn in by the Honorable Judge Eric V. Moyé (14th Civil District Court) during this ceremony.
