House District 60 Summer Events

We are fortunate to live in a district that truly values Oregon's history, culture, and community support. There are some great family friendly events that will be happening all over House District 60 this summer. Whether you're a local or want to come visit from other areas of the state, I hope to see you there!
July 12-14 Nyssa Thunderegg Festival
Nyssa School Complex
105 Main St Nyssa, Oregon
This festival showcases the different rocks and gemstones that can be found in the area, specifically the thunderegg. Family friendly events include rock tours, rock and gem vendors, local artisans, food, music, a parade, rodeo, and a classic car show.
July 20-22 Miners' Jubilee
Geiser Pollman Park 1723 Madison St. Baker City, OR 97814
The Miners' Jubilee makes the heritage and history of Baker County come to life with a parade, vendors, a food court, sidewalk sales, mining demonstrations and kids activities. Bronc Riding Friday night and Bull Riding Saturday night, along with a carnival creates a full weekend of events that draws family and class reunions to Baker City every year.
