The new Rock Creek Bridge has opened on NW Cornelius Pass Road about three miles north of the junction with U.S. 26 north of Hillsboro.
The bridge and Cornelius Pass Road have reopened to traffic, but please watch out for crews continuing work to finish the bridge replacement project over the next few weeks.
The bridge, located about 0.7 mile north of the intersection with NW Germantown Road, replaced a functionally obsolete structure built in 1946. The new bridge is a single span structure with two vehicle lanes and wide shoulders.
The project is part of the transfer of jurisdiction from Washington County to ODOT of NW Cornelius Pass Road, which is now OR 127. Construction began in April 2026 and required closure to all traffic during the work. Once the project is completed, the bridge will be transferred to ODOT for all future maintenance.
