Weather delays hazardous tree removal on U.S. 26 east of Rhododendron

ODOT, U.S. Forest Service crews will reschedule work over next few days

RHODODENDRON – Due to snowfall, ODOT and the U.S. Forest Service has canceled Wednesday’s removal of hazardous trees on U.S. 26 east of Rhododendron.

The rest of the work, originally scheduled for April 14-16, will continue later this week or next week, depending on weather. Check Tripcheck.com before you hit the road to see if this work is happening when you plan to travel.

When crews are working, watch for flaggers and expect a delay in a four-mile stretch of the highway east of Rhododendron.
