Paving

Crews are scheduled to start paving U.S. 395 in Pendleton on Monday, May 12.

Plan ahead for morning lane closures on U.S. 395 in Pendleton next week

May 7, 2025

PENDLETON - Starting Monday, May 12, crews will be grinding down and repaving a section of U.S. 395 (Southgate). The work includes all five lanes starting at the I-84 eastbound off-ramp/I-84 eastbound on-ramp and moving south through the Hailey Avenue/Tutuilla Road intersection.

  • May 12 and 13:
    • Crews will work from 4 a.m. to noon.
    • Expect lane closures while crews grind down and remove old pavement.
  • May 14, 15:
    • Crews will work from 3 to 7 a.m.
    • Expect one lane open northbound and one lane open southbound for paving.

If you plan to travel this route next week, remember that this work may cause morning delays. Plan ahead and give yourself extra time. Be prepared to stop and give our crews space. If you want to avoid the delays, consider an alternate route.

Highway striping is tentatively scheduled for late May.

Schedules are subject to change.
