ODOT is Bringing Change to the Rose Quarter!

"I love helping customers—finding solutions to their challenges. And I love the hunt for more work," says Craig Tibbs, CEO of HTT Communications, sharing his favorite aspects of his business. HTT specializes in designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure network cabling and low-voltage premise cabling systems.
Tibbs founded HTT Communication in 2020, building on 16 years of experience gained at a large corporation in Albany. There, he managed networking infrastructure, handling everything from structure cabling and CAT 6 to end-user connections, security cameras, wireless systems, and phone systems. This comprehensive background provided him with a strong foundation in designing, implementing, and maintaining all facets of complex networks.
Becoming a certified Emerging Small Business (ESB) was a significant step for HTT, paving the way for collaboration with ODOT. The company has since successfully provided security systems for five ODOT sites in Region 1, including security access control systems, cameras, motion detectors, and alert systems.
For other businesses looking to work with ODOT, Tibbs offers practical advice: be precise about the NAICS codes that apply to your business. This ensures you receive relevant job notifications through Oregon Buys and don't miss potential opportunities. A helpful tip for sure!
