Project Update |

Crews are scheduled to return the week of April 21 to complete the curb ramp upgrades project. They will begin the week by bringing in equipment and setting up traffic control. Construction will start later in the week on the west side of Broadway Avenue at B Street. Crews will move south towards Madison Street.
The project is scheduled for completion by August.
During construction, you can expect:
- Intermittent flaggers with lane and shoulder closures.
- Possible side street closures.
- ADA-accessible pedestrian detours around all work zones.
- Access to all businesses will remain open.
- Crews working Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day.
Please watch for work crews and equipment when you see our orange construction signs, cones and barricades.

Remaining work
Upon their return, crews will focus on downtown Burns, installing curb ramps and curb extensions at the following intersections with Broadway Avenue:
- Madison Street
- Adams Street.
- A Street.
- B Street.
- C Street.
Aside from corrections and minor completion tasks throughout the project limits, most work is finished.
