Clow Corner Road Roundabout |
Our crews have been working at the OR 99W and Clow Corner Road intersection building a new roundabout. We closed Clow Corner Road, east of OR 99W in February and plan to keep it closed for up to five months.
You can expect:
- A signed detour to get around the closure.
- Nighttime lane closures on OR 99W as needed.
- Construction noise and delays.
Remember – the speed limit is reduced to 45 mph in the work zone. Use caution and watch for workers.

Coming Up
Starting later this spring, there will be an overlap of time when Clow Corner Road east and west of OR 99W will close. During this time traffic will temporarily shift, using the shoulder, so that we can connect the existing OR 99W road to the new legs of the roundabout.
The Clow Corner Road closures will be for three to four weeks. The work requires dry weather so our schedule may change.
After the OR 99W connection work is done, the roundabout will open to traffic.
Clow Corner Road west of OR 99W will remain closed for up to 90 days and reopen fall 2025. While closed we'll:
- Rebuild the Clow Corner Road connection to OR 99W.
- Remove the old sections of OR 99W that the roundabout replaced.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
