Project Update
Newberg-Dundee Bypass Phase 2A
Slow down through the area
We've been preparing for construction to start on Phase 2A of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass.
Coming soon – the area will start to look different as we set up the work zone!
You can expect:
Crews installing traffic control devices, like signs and cones.
Reduced speed in the work zone to 35 mph.
Crews starting to install erosion control, which will help control how water flows through the work area.
Equipment moving in the area as we start to build the foundation of the road, raising it to meet the elevation needed for the future bridge over OR 219.
Check out what we are building in and around your community!
See what is being constructed on the roads around your community by visiting our webpage. You can explore our interactive map to see what we're working on.
Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
Don't keep this a secret – help us spread the word!
