Coquille DMV will close March 7 for facility work, office will reopen March 10

COQUILLE – The Coquille DMV office at 749 Riverside Drive will be closed to the public Friday, March 7, for facility work. The office will reopen Monday, March 10, with new carpet and adjustable counter stations.
During the closure, local residents can visit our office at 1155 S. 5th St. in Coos Bay, or access more than 20 services online at DMV2U. When we reopen March 10, Coquille DMV office hours will remain the same, whether by appointment or walking in:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
As the May 7 federal REAL ID deadline approaches, we are seeing greater demand and longer lines at most DMV offices. We are maximizing the number of appointments we have, but there will be long wait times due to limited staffing. We encourage people to arrive early and be prepared to wait.
Oregon Driver & Motor Vehicle Services promotes driver safety, protects financial and ownership interests in vehicles, and collects revenue to finance Oregon's transportation system. Oregon DMV’s 58 field offices serve about 10,000 customers daily, while the DMV2U website receives more than one million visitors each month.
