Region 4 Weekly Construction Update
Here at ODOT, we are committed to providing a safe and efficient transportation system for everyone. We invest in Oregon's future through roadway improvement projects. The following projects are located within Region 4; Central Oregon from The Dalles to Klamath Falls on the east side of the Cascades.
There are two ways to learn about construction taking place for the upcoming week.
1. Visit TripCheck.com. Constantly updated with construction and crash data, TripCheck is the best way to learn about road conditions around the state. Click on a traffic cone symbol on the map to see construction impacts for that area.
2. Scroll down to the counties and highways listed below to see impacts that could affect you. Construction information is shown for one week, giving you the most up-to-date information.
All work is dependent on weather conditions, and schedules are subject to change.
DESCHUTES COUNTY
U.S. 97: Lower Bridge Way - Northwest 10th Street (Terrebonne)
Crews will be working on the retaining walls on the east and west sides of U.S. 97 around Lower Bridge way. Smith Rock way has re-opened with flaggers controlling traffic. No highway delays are expected.

U.S. 20: 3rd Street - 15th Street (Greenwood, Bend) Project
Crews will be performing a single lane closure on eastbound and westbound U.S. 20 at mile point 2.75. No delays expected.

OR 126: Redmond - Powell Butte
No work expected this week.
PLAN AHEAD: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on OR 126 at the N. Unit Canal Bridge (mile point 3) beginning February 16. Travelers should expect 20-minute delays for approximately four weeks. Visit the project website for more information.

GILLIAM COUNTY
OR 206: Rock Creek Bridge Project
Construction of the new bridge is complete. Workers may be on-site periodically completing punch list work items with no impacts to motorists. Paving corrective work is expected in late-spring or early Summer 2025.

GILLIAM & SHERMAN COUNTIES
I-84: US197-The Dalles, Rufus & Arlington Bridges
Rufus: Crews will be setting up equipment and performing preparation work for the placement of the new deck on the eastbound structure. Traffic is now in the crossover configuration on I-84 near mile point 109.
Arlington: Crews will be performing grinding and paving work in the median near mile point 138 in preparation of shifting traffic into the crossover configuration. Motorists should anticipate single lane closures on I-84 near mile point 138.

KLAMATH COUNTY
OR 140 Brett Way Extension (South Klamath Falls Highway, MP 3.74 - 4.75)
No work expected this week.

U.S. 97: OR 58 - California Border Project (The Dalles - California Highway, MP 252.44 - MP 278.81)
Bridge work will take place on the Link River Bridge at mile point 275. George Nurse Way is closed to thru traffic. Please use detour in place.
