Expect delays for emergency repairs on OR 241 at Isthmus Slough Bridge

COOS BAY – Emergency road repairs on Coos River Highway (OR 241) in the Bunker Hill area of Coos Bay will cause traffic delays. A water main break caused damage to the roadway.

Beginning Friday afternoon, Feb. 7, crews will be working at the west end of the Isthmus Slough Bridge. Travelers can expect a single lane closure with flaggers directing traffic in both directions.

Use caution and watch for workers in the roadway. Travelers could also see some congestion near the intersection of OR 241 and U.S. 101.

Additional work is expected to continue next week with a single lane closure. Work is planned to be completed at night to minimize traffic impacts. Check TripCheck.com for updates.
